Founded by Dr. Carol Trakimas, Dermatology Solutions of North Carolina Cares, Inc., is a nonprofit charitable foundation 501c(3) dedicated to providing complementary skin cancer screenings to the residents of the state of North Carolina.
Her mission is to prevent skin cancer and lower the incidence of it by taking a proactive approach providing skin cancer screening exams fostering the early detection of skin cancer thereby saving as many lives as possible from this disease.
She is also the peoples advocate dedicated to providing education and information on the detection and prevention of skin cancer.

I cannot live without holistically caring for patients and making a significant impact on their lives. The gift of practicing Dermatology allows for the screening and detection of skin cancer. It also provides an advocating voice of compassion by raising awareness through education of the communities within the state of North Carolina.
